Message from the Chairman
PSC is one of the biggest swimming clubs in the country and winners of the prestigious Preston City Sports Forum “Club of the Year” award for 2006.
PSC is a teaching and competitive club offering the opportunity for children and young persons aged 5 years and above to achieve their full potential in the sports of swimming, water polo, synchronised swimming and bi-athlon events.
PSC uses the facilities at both Fulwood and West View Leisure Centres utilising the skills and dedication of 45 volunteer helpers, teachers and coaches overseen by the Chief Coach David Fairhurst.
The club is run by a committee of 16 volunteers who ensure PSC are continually looking to improve the facilities and opportunities available to all our members. PSC works in partnership with Preston City Council, local swimming teaching establishments, Gallica Swimming Club and local businesses, especially Liquid Plastics, to provide an inclusive and developing environment for all swimmers in the Preston area.
